Organization News
The Mental Health Consumer Run Organization Network of Kansas (MHCRONK)
will be having a 3 day training (March 11, 12, 13, 2009), centering around the Certified Peer Specialist program in Kansas.
All MHCRONK board members and CRO's are encouraged to attend.
The CAC will be moving forward with its West
Virginia Leadership Academy Model this summer. More information will be coming soon!.
The CAC will also continue
doing our 9 month long leadership academy, under the direction of Su Budd. The next class will begin in September, 2009.
Applications for the next class will be sent out in the near future!
CAC Directors to be Keynote
Speakers Cherie Bledsoe and Gary J. Parker will be Keynote speakers
at the Pennsylvania Mental Health Consumer State Conference, which will be held June 9 - 12, 2009, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

CAC Staff and Board Members to attend various National
Conferences
The CAC will be represented at several national conferences this year, due to funding,
scholarships, and personal funds. CAC members will participate at the USPRA National Conference in Norfolk,
VA., the National Association of Peer Specialists Conference in Phoenix, Alternatives 2009 in Omaha, Nebraska, and others.
