Welcome to the 2009 Kansas Recovery Conference!

This year's conference will be held June 16 - 18, 2009.  The location will be Century II Convention Center, Wichita, KS.  Visit this website often for updates!  Hope to see you there!

The Kansas CAC has selected the artwork theme for the conference.  Thanks to everyone who had submitted artwork.  The selected artwork will be posted in the near future!

The CAC Recovery Conference Committee would like to thank everyone for the record number of workshop proposals received this year!  We are currently assigning time slots, and will be notifying workshop presenters in the near future.

The CAC will be electing new Board of Directors at the CAC Annual Meeting during the Recovery Conference.  Elections will be for Region 5 (must live in South Central Kansas), Region 6 (must live in South Eastern Kansas), Rural CROs (Must be a member of CRO in a rural area), and Peers as Providers (Must be a peer who provides a service to other peers.  Examples would be those who have graduated from CAPS, LEAP, Certified Peer Specialists, etc.).  If you are interested in running for one of these positions, please fill out an application, and return it either electronically ( kansascac@sbcglobal.net ), or to the address on the form.
